Neal, What city were thinking about doing? Le Muy? why I ask is I'm making land mines signs now. And if I have Wood left over ill try and make one.

I have a photo from the "Champagne Campaign" book of mine that shows a 517th trooper at a rural road intersection. ( See below) Since La Motte was a 517th objective, I was going to do that one. But to make it any scant bit of realistic, I'd have to make the sign at least 4' by 4' or 4' by 5'.
The road signs back then (and now for that matter) are hand painted steel plates bolted onto shaped concrete slabs. If I could somehow get a custom cut piece of wood, that would be ideal, but a little out of my hobby budget.
