I remember reading something about Halloween and Barbed wire on the reenactor’s board. I was looking at the dollar store and got like 60ft of it. I think that it will help with keep the pubic from touching the guns or anything else! Aka something like the 508th has with their display! I'm going to try and get more! but what do you guys think?

Looks good and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. It would definitely fit nicely with your Engineer display.

I've also seen it home-made with wire or rope with plastic zip ties wrapped around a cut at an angle.
